Early Graduate Passes Away
My dad, George Cadd, was a graduate of Dorsey High in the Summer Class of 1942. He was active in sports, drama, Hi-Y, was a yearbook editor, and a yell-leader (the old days when there were no cheerleaders). He was always proud to have attended Dorsey. He spoke of it now and then - always with fondness. I believe he was in the first graduating class to attend all the class-grade levels at Dorsey; I know he said it was a brand new high school when he started there so many years ago. Anyway, I'm sending this along, not because anyone would know him, but because he was a loyal Don all his life. I think he would be pleased to know his name would be connected with the school one last time in some small way - posting this memoir would be exactly that. Dorsey High thank you for being part of my dad's life - he was, to me, a great man.
---His youngest son.
